The Antelopes first home game was a victory. Golden Valley began the game by kicking off. The next play Antelope Valley’s #2 Jermaine Marshall ran the ball up the middle 60 yards for the first touchdown of the night.

Shortly after #5 Caden Hinton, quarterback for AV fumbled the ball. Golden Valley gained possession of the ball but then dropped it right after, but recovers and did not give up.  They made a slight mistake, but they maintained focus and came back determined.

Golden Valley kicked the ball and came up short but that did not stop AV. It was AV’s turn and #3 Jamaal Bell took possession of the ball and ran 60 yards. That led  #2 Jermaine Marshall’s to a 13 yard run for his second touchdown. This took us into the second quarter with a score of Antelopes 14 Golden Valley 0.

As time ticks down in quarter two, Av’s #9 Elliot Thurman ran the ball from Golden Valley’s 40-yard line for a touchdown. Not too long after that Golden Valley fumbles again. #11 Dylan Hall recovers it and makes an 83-yard run, scoring for AV. Followed by that was an amazing 20-yard pass to #13/17 Derrell Lloyd for another touchdown.

Golden Valley, falling behind, scored their first touchdown of the night with four minutes and forty-seven seconds remaining in quarter two. This fueled AV’s competitiveness even more.  Jamaal Bell #3 came back with a 90-yard run, but it was called back. For some unknown illness, #2 Jermaine Marshall got taken out in quarter one. But he came back in quarter three to score another touchdown for AV. Following that #3, Jamaal Bell hits Golden Valley with yet another touchdown to wrap up quarter three.

Starting off quarter four, the score reads Antelopes 55 and Golden Valley 7. Regardless of the score, Lopes still fought hard and strong to end on a good note. #13/17 Derrell Lloyd ends the game with a final touchdown and Lopes take the win. The final score for the evening was Antelopes 62 and Golden Valley 7.
